Lessons will be based on bel-canto technique. Training exercises to open up the voice with no wrong straining of face, jaw or tongue, so singing can feel natural, open and free with a strong and good sound.

We will also work on artistic expression, as it is of course a big part singing performance.

Learning how to sing  trains ones concentration, breathing, ear, use of voice and balancing of body.

It is also a must to record some of the lessons for daily practising. To keep up the  "third level" or higher.

Note! Charlotte does not sing “ light opera “, but sings with a broad and soothing mezzo-voice. Charlotte`s repertoire ranges from German lieder, Scandinavian romantic songs, traditional Irish and Scottish ballads, some musical songs to French and Italian opera, renaissance to contemporary.

A concert within ROI of only traditional songs can also be arranged with Charlotte and traditional musicians.

Charlotte is planning to record a cd with " vintage " songs from the Baltic Sea area plus Ireland and Scotland.
